My Dresslink wishlist items have arrived and I have to say I’m impressed! As you might recall, I was asked by a Dresslink representative if I was interested in teaming up — I’d receive some of the items on my wishlist for review on the blog in exchange for some good promo and special offers for our readers! So here is Part 2 of my Dresslink haul and review series — all three super-trendy yet affordable pieces styled together in one outfit!
Sequin Peter Pan collar puff sleeve blouse — $8.12 CAD
I was actually impressed by how close the actual blouse matched the photos on the website, especially after reading reviews on the colour being off. My concern was that the sequins would look a little cheap and sparse as some of the reviews claimed, but they actually hold up to the same level of glam as shown in the photos, though subtle enough to wear to work. Nice! I also love that the sequins look more like tiny donuts as opposed to the larger circles, really giving the Peter Pan collar a sweet, unique look.
Retro A-line high waist floral pleated skirt — $10.53 CAD
The skirt does not wear as poofy and flared as advertised, but this works perfectly for me. It falls much more narrow which, for my personal preference, means it’s much more wearable for my taste. The fabric is a nice, thick polyester and also comes with a lining inside, which I always appreciate. Tip: the zipper is a bit stiff towards the top and it takes a fair amount of tugging and pulling to zip or unzip. I may end up getting the zipper replaced so I don’t ruin the skirt.
Faux leather envelope clutch — $2.83 CAD
What a steal for $2.83! This clutch comes exactly as it appears in photos and is surprisingly elegant. It’s a true envelope clutch, especially in this lovely ivory colour. Bonus: the inside lining of the clutch has a cute, floral pattern.
Shipping — My order was processed on June 11 and the shipment arrived on July 15. That’s 34 days, which is within the 16 to 45-day shipping range that Dresslink estimates for all orders. So no disappointments there, especially if you’re patient.
Final thoughts — Overall I’m very happy with my Dresslink order and am even more thrilled that the pieces I picked turned out to style so well together as a single outfit! Looking forward to placing many future returns!

* I’ll be reviewing the facial hair remover spring epilator stick I also ordered, in a separate post. Spoiler alert: it actually works!
** I’m also rockin’ the Bellami Cleopatra Clip-in Bangs in “1B Off Black” and I love them. Review to come on that, too!
